Teddy Scholten died at the age of 83

Dutch singer and TV-host Teddy Scholten has died last week.

In 1959 she won the Eurovision Song Contest with "een beetje" (a little bit)

Scholten, together with her husband Henk, recorded several albums during her career, many of them containing songs for children. In the 1950s and 1960s she appeared in such television programmes as the Snip en Snap Revue, Zaterdagavondakkorden and Kiekeboe. In 1965 and 1966, she presented the National Song Festival.
