Albino Squirrel Heaven

From the Flickr set description:

Sam Sanfiliipo has created a taxidermied utopia to help keep the minds of the grieving occupied. His world of dioramas exists in the basement of an unassuming funeral home in Madison, WI. Enjoy this brief photo tour of some of the squirrel dioramas. The museum is also home to hundreds of other trophies including fish, raccoons, and at least a couple of badgers. If you'd like to visit, just contact Cress Funeral home at 608-238-8406 to make an appointment. Tell 'em Extreme Craft sent you!

Dr. Odio

Unsure if we have linked to the fantastic Dr.Odio Flickr site previously as the Technorati site is down for the count. If so, my apologies. If not, enjoy the warped collection of pics.

2012: The Year The Internet Ends

"Every significant Internet provider around the globe is currently in talks with access and content providers to transform the internet into a television-like medium: no more freedom, you pay for a small commercial package of sites you can visit and you'll have to pay for seperate subscriptions for every site that's not in the package.

Almost all smaller websites/services will disappear over time and multinationals who are used to using big budgets to brute force their content into every media outlet will finally be able to approach the internet in the same way."

As in: "There's a place in France/Where the Ladies Wear No Pants".

Flash Gordon

" ... Flash Gordon at it's most typical embodied what I can only call "The Art Deco Space Opera Continuum". This can also be seen on the covers of a LOT of SF pulps, like the covers to those "Thrills Inc." issues. Flash was however, the trendsetter to be sure. It is a streamlined future, it's design implying the promise of forward motion... this is a world, a culture that is going somewhere. ..."

Audio: Paternal Flatulence and Child Development

An audio story of Dad's (Lex09) digestive tract antics over at GlyphJockey. Deftly and cleverly produced by my genius lad (Lex11), possibly award winning. Full of cusses. He promises me he will do the rest of the audio in a couple of installments. Even juicier stuff. Make him do it.

....all last names have been "backwardized" to maintain anonymity.
Also, in case you're bad with math, that's me telling the story.
