Sadie's Favorite Boyfriend.

Speck Rhodes was an American treasure, even if Porter Wagoner was the only one who ever laughed at his jokes. He also sang.

Emma bunton new rare bside Perhaps perhaps perhaps

I only do this to annoy Dante. And because I love the song. And tiny women...

60s shake.... smooth

After Jayne was done with me, I had to contend with this. No external help from the Cannon Group...I was sadly on my own.

Go Joe

More excess from the 80's. The GI Joe cartoon series which aired in 1985 and '86 featured a PSA at the end of each episode that explored the wonders.....errr....dangers of life safety scenarios. Here's a few particular episodes that you would be well advised to pay attention to.
Knowing is half the battle

Fire

Stranger Danger with "Wild Bill"

Water Safety

Sh! The Octopus

A haunted lighthouse, creepy tentacles, and Hugh Herbert....sounds like box office gold to me! Woo woo!

Tour de France caravans

I loved all the images from this 6 year old article from some cycling online magazine about the corporate caravans during the Tour de France. Take a look here before they realize they still have it posted after all this time, and take it down.

The description on Yvette's caravan says, "Yvette Horner, a French accordionist has participated to 11 Tours de France....In towns she was playing on the top of the roof of the Citroen traction. Between towns, a dummy figure took her place. Some years later the system has been improved, Yvette was behind a glass to protect her from the insects."

CRAZY DECALS - LSD For Lunch Bunch

No date. Probably early 70s.

Bruce Springsteen Dream Baby Dream

I am all WTFed over this - I am pretty much ignorant of Springsteen, but he deserves credit for this inspired cover, and the condensed scenes from Sunrise work. Via  coisas do arco da velha

The Perception of Dors

Like what I did there? With that title? Hah? HAH!?! Either way this site is a gem - one of those old-school web layouts with GIANT FONTS and stuff that looks like links but aren't.
CENTERED, CENTERED, I tells ya!-
I think the purpose is to sell you a naked picture of Diana Dors, via the swapsale domain, but who the hell knows - life's too short to dick around with meaningless content, no?

Net-net it is, however an obsessively wonderful overview of Diana's career, replete with clips pix and posters. Go - have an ogle at this sometimes questionably beautiful, baloney-lipped wonder.

Cheeky!

Happy Easter

Here at PCL Headquarters we're all busy eating roasted chicken and rabbit, taking pictures of each other or otherwise orgying. So on behalf of all of us I am wishing all of our visitors a Happy Easter and may all your Easters be white, or black or green, whatever you prefer.

Hong Kong Jambalaya

How wonderful when you find an aging link and the music is still there--case in point, this version of Hank Williams' Jambalaya by Chang Loo (aka Lu Zhang) is waiting patiently for you to follow the link and click play. Check out her album 百代時代傳奇Vol.3:張露-再給我一個吻 if you're on spotify, it made for some very tasty Sunday listening for me (there's a version of Hula Hoop!).
