Galeria of Failed Dance Crazes: The Sputnik
I suppose if all the Martians were doing it, YOU would need to do it too, right? Right! It's the Sputnik, and since all you have to do it put you foot out and back, and then put your hand on your partner's back, I think we can all learn it. Yes?

Dance With Your Baby With A Bump Ball In Between
Now pay attention people, 'cause you shouldn't miss a dance that's bound to be a #1...

There was also a 45 released by RCA Victor giving performing credit to "The Combinations", who do not seem to be the same band as "The Bumpers".

Fsssst Booing!
I'm not sure if I put enough "s"'s or "o"'s but I can't get this song of out my head!
Again, the quality's not great, but here's another clip of "Fssst Booing." More!

Le Petit Coolie Chinois

Hey isn't that Phyllis Diller on tambourine?
I would have to say I dig these songs by Emille Decotty and Luc Harvet, including Le Jerk Militaire, Le Petit Coolie Chinoise, et Jerkorama. I guess I'm just a sucker for anything that ends in "o-rama".

Hey everybody....

Looks like rain in my part of the world, which is a great excuse to sit back and listen to a new compilation of dance crazes from Stigma Rest Room. Which came first....the Banana Splits, or Cal Tjader's "Tra-la-la song"?
