If I owned such an impressive collection of hairballs (both human and feline) I would show them off, too. The National Museum of Health and Medicine in Washington D. C. reports in its very excellent and entertaining blog A Repository for Bottled Monsters the opening of a special exhibition celebrating the bezoar beginning April 27th. The above trichobezoar (or human hairball) was surgically removed from the stomach of a hair-eating 12 year old girl.
