Herman made me lie

I was thinking writing a post about the lack of totally great new bands Lps, at least that i totally love, and the birth of a new electronic seven inches age, and then came... then came this video and i can't help myself smiling on and on.
The new Herman dune Lp "Giant" will be out on october 2006, and i hope i will love it from track 1 to 16 .
I wish i was better at predicting what will be a hit, but believe me, this is one of them.
The video is a new Schoollhouse rock, and as soon as i will finish this post i will go back watching it once more.

By the way, go to their myspace to hear Not on top, from their previous Lp, i was sure that this song was to be a hit when it was released, it didn't. I told you i'm not good at predicting.
I'm better at barbecue parties.

YouTube Sucks

YouTube Underground

Updated: I changed my mind about linking to YouTube Underground.

#1 - My account just got deleted:
"Your video "How to put on on a bra" has been rejected due to its inappropriate nature. Due to your repeated attempts to upload inappropriate videos, your account has now been permanently disabled and your videos have been taken down. If you feel your account has been disabled in error, please contact us to explain why."

Here is "How to put on on a bra" on Metacafe.
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!! INAPPROPRIATE MY ASS!!

#2 - Kurt's comment here didn't make the decision to change this entry any harder.

Updated II: Choco tells us about Those Bastards! which is an interesting and "mean" blog observing other blogs and sites with a blow and torch. Has an evil eye on YouTube.
Worth checking out if you want more critical views of what's really going on behind the "scenes".

I am not very funny

This post was a joke of course. I hope 99% of the readers understood that.
I need no money. I am rich. Super rich. I pay my hookers at breakfast everyday. Noone has complained yet. At least not about the money..

Aperitivo's love stallion company

The new aperitivo radio show is trying to find a solution to a major problem, the lack of love, physical love, welcome in aperitivo's love stallion company. You'll find raw funk, soft pop, mad electronic, punk funk, yeye tribute, and dreamy pop. The perfect love cocktail.

Hi! Everybody!

I need money.
That's what I want.

Tons of cash.

It costs being a blogger. I need coffee. At least one of these per week.
I need a better chair. The blog is on turbo when I am able to sit comfortably for hours.
I need booze. Prefarably rum, gin and cold czech beers. And a few bottles of wine.
Just in case the blog depression hits. And for inspiration.
Throw in a tiki bar while you're at it. I am not a handy man. I need it skillfully arranged in my one-room apartment (hell! I need a new apartment!).

I need to go to out and have a fine piece of snack every day. Cooking takes time from blogging.
I need a car (transportation is king). And a new camera.
Oh! Almost forgot - I need a really big plasma tv. I shouldn't be forced to look at my miniature tv-set. It's not healthy. I could go blind for heavens sake!
I need vacations now and then. Bahamas would be nice. Brazil. Tahiti.
The relaxation I get now is by no means good enough.

Well, as you can clearly understand I need cash.
donate_button

Support my needs. Please.
I can't run this blog if you can't cough up at least $1000. For starters.

Ok, the fact that this blog doesn't cost me any money at all DOESN'T CHANGE THE FACT that you really should donate a (very) small amount of your cash to ME.

Is this hard to understand.

I'm worth it.

Give 'em to me - and I maybe blog tomorrow. That's what I'm saying.
Trust me! It's for a good course. My health and comfort is serious business.

And - remember - it's for your own good.

Thank you.

Black Americana at the Antique Show

I went to an antique show a couple of weeks ago and took many photos.... but, my camera kinda sucks. I must get a new one soon.

I am always surprised by how much "Black Americana" is still floating around out there.

Shameful.

HEARTBREAKING, SWEATY AND SEXY

It made me cry my tears out.
Such a beautyfull moment. The one just after making love, the one of complete abandon, something like pure tenderness, when you are still feeling that heat, and the sweet smell of sex, when nothing else exist in the world, apart from you and your beloved.
This is exactly what i feel watching this Elysian Fields video.
A true and rare moment shot on a Brooklin roof by Vincent Moon for La blogotheque, so instense and quite disturbing.
You must have a go to the complete blogotheque post to watch Jennifer Charles singing Edith Piaf's "Jezebel", this is definitely unique.
Thank you Mister Moon.

Do i really need to say more...
Is the man working on the matter everyday of his life or what ?
Is he some kind of a monomaniac ? Love those monomaniacs.
You'll find there marvellous Talking Heads live songs, strange post punk band, the groove and the energy of these days.
Always helpfull, read that Vivien Goldman tribute and read him every update. Always joyfull.
