PICO Novelties

Archie McPhee's Monkey Goggles site gives us this feature on PICO Novelties, an LA based boutique and supplier of dime store novelties. I believe I accidentally "loaned" one of these years ago to Ms. Baikinange as a birthday or bat-mitzvah present. She probably will never return it....oh well....

Or purchase the "Hot Nip" - featuring the bodacious, female drunkard.

Never understood the appeal of these things when mom's Kent's were within arm reach away...

Over at Ephemera Assemblyman there's a nice collection of collages by Wilfried "Sätty" Podriech:

Also a bio, references, and big images. A nicely executed post. GO.

Titanes en el Ring!

Caballero Rojo! La Momia! Mister Moto! Ah, the names alone take me back to my years as un poco chupacabra in Buenos Aires, with my mug of steaming Ovaltino and a fistful of capybara jerky watching Los Titanes en el Ring. Ah memorias. Now I can sing along with the songs of my youth with this fine album, offered by Viejitos Chotos, obrigato and hasta el fuego for that, mi amigo.
