One For You, One For Me
Since I've unwittingly started the "embarrassed to be white" (who said it? Lex?) series, I keep stumbling across these. Really - I don't set out to find them ... they just find me. And they were HITS!

Your sex therapy
Your sex therapy is our new Aperitivo show. Such an eye catching title as a ridiculous attempt to incruise the Aperitivo website hits. But to deal with such an important topic we implement a totaly new method, let's say this is a new revolution.

The Drug Epidemic
"Murder on the installment plan."
Freddie Gage's assessment of the drug epidemic. Magic Carpet Burn shares this outstanding sermon on the evils of the "kicks" associated with the use of drugs. Complete with Pep Band rally fervor, Texas football references, borscht belt comedy, the inevitable automobile wrecks, Margaret Mead references and a whole lotta montone preaching. It's a blast.

The World Famous Dionne Quintuplets

story/photographs about the world-famous Dionne Quintuplets
{Popular Science/February, 1937}
{Popular Science/February, 1937}

first edition Dionne Quintuplet dolls (Madame Alexander)
Marie Dionne in an advertisement for Kre-mel desserts (1941)Born May 28th, 1934, The Dionne sisters (Annette, Cecile, Yvonne, Emilie and Marie) were the world's first living quintuplets. Billed as The Dionne Quintuplets, the adorable French-Canadian litter, were naturally abused and exploited like circus freaks from the time they were born. Unlike they brats from the reality television program, Jon and Kate Plus Eight, The Dionne Quintuplets were conceived naturally, immediately snatched away from their (poor) parents by their government and placed them in a "home" called "Quintland" where millions of dollars were made off of them.
Two of the Dionne quints are still living. Reportedly, they are pretty bitter and broke.
