Sweet Memories with Happy Flowers

Ah yes, here's one that me and Mr. Baikinange used to spoon to way back when. Thank you Roots and Traces: Spurensicherung for the nostalgic trip back in time.....

Brotherhood of....

Hello dear listeners, Brotherhood of... is the new Aperitivo radio show. Quite a heavy psych hour this week. With an excerpt from Michel Magne's unreleased soundtrack for Barbarella (great arrangment by Jean Claude Vannier), heavy Morricone out of the exorcist, Terror soundtrack by Ivor Slaney (yes same one as the "Here Come the Double Deckers"), Amiga sound from east germany, eastern guitar from turkey and a lot more energizing delights.

Kiss caress and more until next time

More news

The Brogroll here at PCL was kind of my pride ... a couple of years ago. But due to my slacking the blogroll more or less became a wasteland with corrupt links, dead links and links to spam and the occasional super link.
We can't have that. A blogroll should be up to date and links should take you to the place required.
So ... all links in the blogroll has been throwed away. Now we can start from scratch.
I hope you will all dig this and not get too upset.

We also have a new contact address: pcllinkdump@gmail.com (you'll find it to the right as well).
Ange and (occasionally) I will both have access and answer requests, questions or whatever.
I do not longer answer on the old address.

Sajiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid!!!

Delightfully inept pop stylings from sixties teen-dream Sajid Khan, whose claim to fame was a co-starring role in the movie "Maya", alongside former Dennis the Menace Jay North. Courtesy of Redtelephone66.

Lots of stuff to do.

Label buttons are restored. Halo Scan commenting is back (that means if you have left a comment last hours it is gone).

Hey! BTW! We've got ourselves a new manager!

Baikinange has stepped up to help me do the job I have been slacking big time lately with.
I love her for that and is so utterly grateful.

Ange and I will work out the changes to come. Stuff will happen. Links will be thrown away. New stuff will explode in your face.
But, the bottom line is, she will then more or less be captain of this ship until I come back permanently. This is seriously good news. She will be here. Baikinange is the BOSS. Do not mess with her.

She and I will update you how everything is progressing.

Pakistan-wood classics

Music for Maniacs has MY song of the week, a 70s kitsch number from a movie produced in Pakistan. For some odd reason, Pakistan-wood is not as well known as Bollywood, and the promotion of such musical classics may help right this wrong.

Abby - The Black Exorcist

Another typical Sunday morning at the Yuma household. Watching cheesy, blaxploitation flicks on You Tube filmed in "Crap-O-Vision"

Thanks to Immoral Tales for the goodness.

The Fleet's in Port Again, Yo Ho

The perfect background album for, oh I don't know, measuring inseams or something--a veritable plethora of tunes from John Inman from "Are You Being Served" backed by a lusty male chorus. Wait, did I just hear him sing "I toss like a salad"?
There are plenty of music hall numbers about sailors and such--I particularly liked Come to the Supermarket (in old Peking), and is it possible to have too many versions of Teddy Bear's Picnic"? I thought not.

Get it from CosmoBells

Movin' & Groovin'

Oh-so-groovy late sixties instrumentals by--triple extra bonus points for the name--Paraffin Jack Flash Limited--from Spiral.

Grickily's Flickr Page aka Mr. Toast from A Sampler of Things has got some fine images of kids stuff for your enjoyment.

Brazen Brass

The playlist is much more entertaining in Spanish:

La vuelta al mundo en 80 días
Molino Rojo
El amor es algo maravilloso (Apparently "Many Splendored" doesn't translate well)
Tres monedas en la fuente
El puente sobre el río Kwai
Sólo ante el peligro (High Noon)

Get it aquí

¡oye!
