Well, I have completed my holiday shopping for the PCL Ladies......this lovely Evening in Paris gift set was only $2.98 at my local Jupiter Five and Dime store. Probably my gift to the PCL guys will be Hai Karate soap on a rope, or just a handful of dollar bills for tipping their favorite exotic dancers. Shopping completed!

Let's Spend Some Money!

Bryan's Lounge is doing its part to help stimulate the economy by offering a mess of swell production music tunes you might have heard at the local E. J. Korvette's or Woolworth's circa 1960. Although it has the effect of making me want to go out and buy some hair nets or some Tangee orange lipstick.
There's even a tune called Tater Tot Parade, damn I'm getting hungry!

The hideous, modern day phenomena called Black Friday is upon us here in the USA. Thousands of bargain starved miscreants roam our malls in search of the elusive $250 laptop, the $400 flat screen TV or the loathsome "Guitar Hero" video game set.

As I contemplate the idiocy of getting in line at your local Wally World at 4AM, my mind goes back to a gentler time when discount department stores like Korvette's roamed the earth.
