How to keep your blacks black
My friend B found this:
Metalhead Laundry Tips
"COLD WASH ONLY. Allow your clothes to soak in waters as cold as the rivers of Blashyrkh itself, without agitation. HAND WASH, or use the "hand washables" cycle on your washing machine. Your precious metal shirts get enough violent agitation when you're wearing them in the mosh pit."
Metal not your scene? you can go to Wicked Punk laundry services in Akron OH. Or for a little DIY, hit punk rock domestics.

A Dress A Day
Since I'm FINALLY not sick, I can catch up on some long overdue pcl blogs.
One of the sewing/fashion blogs I read is
A Dress A Day. Erin sews and is into "stunt dressing". Check out her awesome dress for The American Crossword Puzzle Tournament.

I love clothing that has a sense of humor!
She also does this feature every so often called "The Secret Life of Dresses", which is short stories from a dress' point of view. This appeals to be because my clothing is a big part of sparking my memory.
Along those lines is Love, Loss and What I Wore.

Hawai'ian Shirts - La Vie Continue
Alfred Shaheen - the Henry Ford of the Hawai'ian shirt has surfed into the sunset for the last time.
So, related to that, lemme say, OK - anything is, literally. on line.
Here's an individual that sold vintage clothing and decided to document the Hawai'ian shirts that accumulated and eventually became a collection and wardrobe. Bravo.
So - is the photography perfect - damn close. Could the images be bigger? Yes. Is it cool anyway? Not to some. Should you look? Up to you. Do I wish I was in Hawaii? Yes.
