First an Apology, and Then Some Boobs.

It has recently come to our attention that we here at the PCL Braintrust let the weekend go by without marking what would have been the 88th birthday of American cinematic auteur Russ Meyer. We sincerely apologize for this deplorable oversight and wish to assure you that those responsible have been sacked, and that in their termination letters they were rebuked in the harshest possible language. The management of PCL LinkDump deeply regrets any inconvenience this may have caused and, as a token of our goodwill, we kindly offer the following Russ Meyer film trailers at no additional cost to you, our loyal readership.

Lynn Carey - Mama Lion
If Lynn Carey's voice sounds familiar, that's because she did the Carrie Nations vocals on the "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls" soundtrack. She could easily have been a Russ Meyer chick, and was a Penthouse Pet, but preferred to keep on the music side with her group, "Mama Lion" (you can see her on the cover in the video, suckling a lion cub!)
