JingleBell Rock on handbell

No, I didn't say that I don't like Christmas! I love it! I like the abundance of food and drinks, seeing my family once a year: my elderly aunts and uncles, the sweet nieces from Portengense Brug and my dirty cousins from Amsterdam, going to a church packed with people taking flashlight pictures of their family-members in the choir and speaking of which ... most of all.... I think the music this time of year is great, don't you agree? Especially all those bells! I can't get enough of them.

Don't forget to see the other handbell-clips as well. They're a real treat!

The Rhodes Kids Christmas

IT'S GETTIN' ECKS-MASSY UP IN HERE. And you know what that means. Everyone's favorite semi-forgotten Partridge Family rip-off band, celebrating the season so that you don't have to!

And if you tire of Xmas music (because truthfully, it kind of sucks) clear your palette with this hot number:

Wild X-Mas With Bomarr, Vol. 3

The third and final volume in the "Wild Xmas" series has been installed by Bomarr.

Wild X-Mas With Bomarr, Vol. 3

And this, my friends was my only post pointing to x-mas related music this year.

This is all I need. At least this year.

A Wild X-Mas With The Bomarr Monk???

O, Yeah. Definitely.

Last year, Bomarr put together and shared the excellent 'Wild Christmas with the Bomarr Monk' ("A 50-minute continuous mix featuring Grand Buffet, Wesley Willis, Daniel Johnston, Little Marcy, Wild Man Fischer, Suicide, Tiny Tim and much more.").

Now it is time for Volume 2. It's another continous mix of strange, outsider-ish, obscure or just plain fun tracks ("featuring Audio Two, Hasil Adkins, Crafty Ladies, Paska, Erlend Oye, Mojo Nixon, George W Bush and much more").
It is time for another Wild X-Mas With The Bomarr Monk!

Both compilations are available as 2 .rar files at the site.

To help Bomarr save some of his precious bandwidth you can also chose to download both the comps as uploaded by me (same tracks - same high quality).
- Wild Christmas With The Bomarr Monk, Vol. 1 (70,5 MB at files.ww)
- Wild X-mas With The Bomarr Monk, Vol. 2 (108 MB at sendspace)
(or alternatively at files.ww as 3 seperate files: Wild X-mas Vol2 Part1 (track 1-12), Wild X-mas Vol2 Part2 (track 13-24) and then the cover art work.)

Wild Christmas with the Bomarr Monk

Matt of the Bomarr blog is sharing a fantastic 50 minute continuous christmas mix cd with his friends and the outsider music community.
(Incl. "stars" like Daniel Johnston, Little Marcy, Wild Man Fischer, Wesley Willis, Tiny Tim, the Ramones, Suicide, Grand Buffet and much more.).
I've uploaded this mix to Momoshare (2 zip files, in which the last one contains the cover art).
Track 1-12 at Momoshare.
Track 13-24 (incl. the cover art) also at Momoshare.
Or you can go here to download each track individually.
