I nominate Matching Studio PLC to co-produce the new Godzilla film. The Thai Petrol Company ad gets more laughs in 92 seconds than many Hollywood films get in a 92 minutes.

Music of The Human Vapor and such

Does anyone else get a charge about owning tunes with such titles as "Stark Terror at the Mikuni Bank", "Tokyo's Citizens Ordered to Evacuate", and "Horror of The Human Vapor" (especially in close quarters)? Or maybe you just need original Japanese monster movie music to do re-enactments of Japanese monster movies in the tub with your action figures. At any rate, hurry, hurry, they won't be up long at Magic Carpet Burn.

Godzilla!

Saw this over at Idil Vice the other day.
My friend Andrew is a HUGE Godzilla fan. In fact, Godzilla references were a big part of his wedding, which I was a groomsperson.

The last time I saw a Godzilla flick was at a drive-in about 10 years ago. My boyfriend at the time and I traveled because that was what I wanted to do for my birthday--go to the drive-in. I hadn't been to one since high school. The Route 35 Drive In. Joe Bob Briggs even wrote about it for Entertainment Weekly.
