datajunkie is back! Now in 3-D!

datajunkie is back. That is great news in many ways. One good thing is that we get to know the finest in obscure pulps!. Another good thing is that we get to use the super-sight goggles again so that we can hang out with Captain 3-D in the third dimension.
But - most importantly - hyperdave is back with a vengeance. I've missed him.

Three-dimensional cuties

Patricia has posted a really wonderful bunch of 3d retro eros.
These images are great just as they are. But build one of these just for kicks. If you do not have a pair handy somewhere.
Note: Like the image above the rest of the set is also kind of not worksafe. But i had to post it.
Updated: Flickr got all hot and bothered. Patricia has posted them here now.

Lenticular Art of Chris Dean

Chris Dean's lenticular art has grown out of his installations involving 3D imagery. The work has a very outsider feel, with the added coolness of being flicker pictures. I want this. I want to do this. His description of the path to these works is actually interesting- devoid of Art in America-speak.

Via the cool blog Bright Stupid Confetti, which in the same post has children's drawn interpretations of Radiohead songs
