"Lovely, Mixed Up Girl" - Mary Hartman goes disco
I am posting this awful (and awfully camp) disco song due en part to the decline of American soap operas.
Viewer-ship of many of these shows (soaps) we once knew has taken a terrible stumble and with our crappy economy, many daytime soaps are losing money (which means they can't afford to stay on the air).
Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman - the television program this song is based on - was a Norman Lear produced parody of classic American soap operas. It aired from 1976 to 1977.

No Pim Pom, but still great.
There are lots of tasty morsels for the downloading at Africolombia's Blog--I liked Mr. Trumpet Man and Mambo Rock a lot. My only gripe is seeing all of the album tracks and only being able to download one. So I don't get a copy of "Pim Pom" by Wganda Kenya, oh well.
