I'll have to say I don't think I've ever seen an episode of the 80s TV show "Facts of Life"--if I have, I may need a therapist who specializes in repressed traumatic memory to assist me. Anyway, back in the 50s Charlotte Rae was a cabaret singer of witty, political, and topical tunes, and Some Local Loser offers the collection "Songs I Taught My Mother" that backs up this fact. If you don't already own a copy, "Gabor the Merrier" is for you, Donna.
