Plakaty.ru is a Russian website dedicated to the Soviet art of poster making. The project seems to be in a somewhat dormant state (last updates were made a year ago), and the English version offers very few explanations on the origins and purposes of the showpieces. Still, there's almost 2,000 posters on display, covering almost the whole lifespan of the Soviet Union, so it's definitely worth a visit.
