Stina Persson
Shopper - Franco Sarto
Now it's time for me to blog a fellow Skåning (Skåne is the name of the province - the very south - in Sweden I live in, and Skåning is what you are if living here).
This Skåning though, Stina, seems to be a lot more than just Skåning. She has lived (and studied) in Italy, Japan and USA.
She's a quite famous illustrator.
From the 'About'-section on her site: Stina's strange, unique, and elegant style - based on ink, watercolor and gouache, as well as Mexican cut paper (used at ceremonies and festivals) - has caused her client list to keep on growing. Among other things, she recently did a major advertising campaign for Lillet, a French liquor brand.
Check out her great portfolio at her web page. (via Poussieres d' Ikhtonie)
Update: Download [YouSendIt-file] Skånska tjejer (tjejer=girls) by Schytts (a fine Swedish dance orchestra)
