"My name is Edymnion, and I was born in 1981. I grew up in what may very well be the greatest decade for Saturday morning cartoons in history. There will be those of you who are reading this that don't know what it means to wake up at 6 A.M. on Saturday mornings with a bowl of cereal, only moving long enough to get up and change the channel, enraptured for six straight hours of cartoon goodness. These were the days before Cartoon Network, even before Nickeledeon. FOX would show an hour or two of cartoons after school, but that was it for cartoons during the week. Saturday morning, thats where all the good shows were. While there are still some channels that still keep up the old tradition, like Fox and Kids WB, the golden days of the Saturday morning cartoon show are long since gone. ..."
