Mr. Mimmo is a renaissance man of sorts, writing both music and words, as well as performing his works as only an Italian who sings love can. It’s all spelled out on the liner notes which anyone who truly wishes to understand the inner workings of Don Mimmo should read. The arrangements are very good (although not penned by Mr. Mimmo), his singing voice is smarmy but competent, and his lyrics often times venture off into the surreal. ..."
