Canneloni Macaroni
This was before Kebab and Falafel hit the streets of Sweden. But in the long run ... "Italian" Pizza with ananas, beef, bacon and béarnaise sauce the Swedish style will probably live forever. Kitsch for ears and mouth!

Jim Henson - Time piece (1964)
"Time Piece is an experimental short film produced, directed, and written by Jim Henson, who also played the leading role. Henson began the project in the spring of 1964 and continued to work on it for nearly a year, between commercial projects and various Muppet television appearances. The short film premiered in May 1965 at the Museum of Modern Art and was distributed through Pathe Contemporary films to arthouse theaters and the film festival circuit. It played in New York City along with the French feature A Man and a Woman", originally posted by Billiam J

You have all been coming through for me with my requests lately, so I'm hoping that someone has a copy of this Mitch(ell) Miller album to share with me.

Beat That Face: Guilda
I spotted this clip of famed Canadian drag queen, Guilda, over on Lady Bunny's blog.
I am mesmerized as he transforms into a she (Guilda). The same goes for his male dancers.
I am mesmerized whenever I've the opportunity to beat my own face.
Putting on one's face is truly relaxing.
Watching someone else do it (seemingly flawlessly) is breathtaking.
I'm gonna go into a beauty coma if I watch this again - today!

Meanwhile, back at the PCL Lodge ...
This was in my "youtube recommends" ... hmm - probably because it's a Ron Ormond classic. Note: the monster is none other than Sleepy LaBeef.
Sequence Time

Thank you Slothy for this very excellent album of danceable tunes by Dennis Hayward. At first glance I thought there was a bunch of "snow" on Dennis' keyboard as was the case for many keyboards in the seventies. Then I saw it was just an abraded record cover, surely from Slothy clutching it lovingly to his bosom.
