Twistin' with Werner
Who wants some highly spirited old fogeys playing twist music, with comical results? (and of course, only old fogeys use the term "old fogeys")
I DO I DO!
Speedy Gonzales/St. Tropez Twist/Ya Ya all jammed into 2:32 of music! German efficiency at its finest!

Multiculturalismismsim....
The dulcet tones of the mariachi is a concept we can all understand. My teutonic brother, Rex Gildo, gets it. One Love.

Neh Nah Nah Nah + I Will Survive, Crowd Gone Wild
There's just something about this 6:33 video music medley that enthralls me. German singer/entertainer Simona Rich may have the greatest white jumpsuit since Elvis.

Blue Jean Boy
Conny Froboess, "The Berliner Göre" of the 50's and 60's rides the rock and roll wave at some crappy looking holiday camp in this clip. Dubbed as the German Annette Funicello shes quite a little tart, ain't she?

Sour Kraut Music

Fritz Guckenheimer and his Sour Kraut Band play German oom-pah music the way it was truly meant to be played--loud, slightly out of tune, and listing drunkenly to one side. Mr Fab, a kind reader of my blog shared a link to this album in the comments on a totally unrelated post -- Music For Non-Thinkers is available in a suitably low-fi bitrate of 128, you can snag it here.
