Continental Fashion Sense

OK, I'm officially sick of looking at pink wigs, so let's all enjoy some snappy European fashions, courtesy of alte-versandhauskataloge.de shall we?

Les Diapos De Monsieur Millot

From an Ektachrome slides collection found in Paris by a friend of mine. The holidays of Mr and Ms Millot travelling through Europe during the 60's.

I Love Europe

The Swedish semifinals for the song contest Melodifestivalen - which will determine which song we will send to the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade - started yesterday.
And I just have 3 words to say: I LOVE EUROPE

This song and performance is like a mix of traditional swedish dansband; Heino; a really cheap cabaret number; a Bavarian Oktoberfest (Hello!l .. Heino again ... d'oh!) and Lucky Luke.
The result is fantastic.

"I'm walking down the street, my feet feel like dancing - I Love Europe"

Note: I have created a facebook group to support "I Love Europe" and Christer Sjögren. It is open for users in the Sweden network. Group name is (of course) I Love Europe.
Notera: Jag har alltså startat en facebook-grupp för att visa mitt stöd för Christer och "I Love Europe". Denna grupp heter kort och gott: I Love Europe.
Välkommen med support och känsloyttringar.
Eurovision - här kommer Christer!

Matchboxes or, Ow! My Eyes! Too Much Awesomeness!

I seriously think one of these might end up as a tattoo on me somewhere. That space station maybe.

The poorly executed registration of the plates, the clever all-packed-in imagery, the messaging, all combine to either smooth out or contract - or possibly both - my cortical sulci.

It's like lust.

The Flickr set is Here - mostly Eastern European but others as well. Dazz-f***ing-ling
The site of the individual who created the set is Here - Maraid.

A nice match for some Turkish Shag, no?
