L.A. Babylon.

I don't care what the haters say, I love Los Angeles. Especially mid-20th century Los Angeles, the seedier the better. That's why I love today's post at Pulp International with a treasure trove of photos of the noir side of the City of (Fallen) Angels, circa 1930-1950. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to watch "The Blue Dahlia" and read "Day of the Locust."

as much as i love "pulp international" and this posting, there's always a downside to it... for all the great postings they have, it's always highly annoying that they never link their sources accurately (so they got the great pics from a forum called skyscraperpage - but why won't they link the particular thread??) and that they always post small sized pics. so, first they show you the goodies, second, they won't show you where to finde more, and, third, wanna see the pics in bigger size, well, bad luck.

(which is, fourth, although i love the great stuff they're posting, i'm never linking to it)
