Space Vinyl
A little-known fact about NASA was the attempt to be the first to send rocket-fueled record albums to the moon-- and as you can see by this album cover the attempts were successful. The US beat the Russians simply because all of the Soviet vinyl was tied up in making affordable Borscht bowls or vodka bottle stoppers or something. I'm no historian here, look it up yourself. Anyway, this fine album by the renowned Jerry Rudolph and his Radio & TV Orchestra contains a particularly spirited (and by default, heavily creepy) version of "Standing on the Corner Watching All the Girls Go By". Get it here.
