Apparently I am not the only person besotted by the electric personality of utility mascot Reddy Kilowatt, as evidenced by the above artwork from a 1940s cookbook found on Lileks.
Reddy fans turn up all over the place--the Grateful Dead's Phil Lesh uses him in videos....on Tikiranch, and of course, on Flickr (is it a mortal sin to covet Neato Coolville's Reddy moist towelettes?)
And maybe best of all, an entire blog dedicated to the awesomeness of Mr. Kilowatt.
And of course....there's Reddy on TV.
