The Bobby Mercer Road Show

Pastor McPurvis shares The Bobby Mercer Road Show- This One's For You:
"... Originally from Canada, Mr. Mercer studied music at the Canadian Navy’s school of music and held the positions of featured guitarist and arranger in the Canadian Navy Band for five years. He is also an accomplished multi-instrumentalist. This album from 1977 sees Mr. Mercer juggling electric and acoustic guitar, banjo, clarinet, tenor sax, and singing duties. The members of his band are also expected to cover many parts, with individuals doubling on up to six instruments as well as singing. The tracks on the album are a mix of top 40 popular songs, some standards, film themes (check out Star Wars), and patriotic tunes all delivered with a happy, ‘Hey everybody, we’re putting on a show!’ attitude. Don’t miss thier version of Khachaturian’s Sabre Dance. ..."
