René Daalder is a Hollywood based filmmaker, from Dutch origin. I know his name from one of Boudewijn de Groot's albums, for which he did some of the lyrics. I did some googling on Daalder, but visiting Daalder-related sites my AV-program went on yellow alert, so be carefull...

Rock and roll.
The Swedish blog Radiovikarien had an entry 3 years ago about the 10 December 2007 Led Zeppelin re-union at the Ahmet Ertegün Tribute Concert. The author of the blog had access to a press archive. He found an intersting photo of Zeppelin in Sweden.

The caption translated from Swedish:
"Archival footage from 1973 of hard rock group Led Zeppelin at the porn club Chat Noir in Stockholm, receiving the gold records which are placed against the bed on which the clubs sex artists perform. From the left John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Bonham. Photo: Bertil Ericson."

A song is worth a thousand pictures

Pulp International presents a nice collection of record covers from femme fatales, bad girls and sexploitation stars:
"The other day we realized that nearly all of our femmes fatales released records at some point, so we have a megapost of sleeves below representing a fraction of these multi-talented women’s musical output. We’ve heard most of the music, believe it or not, and while its quality varies, we do suggest you check out both Marilyn Chambers and Reiko Ike—their simulated orgasms are quite pleasing to the, er, ears. "
