Kay Thompson wrote the book "Eloise", which is all I need to know about her (and if you don't know the book Eloise, you need to be sklonked in the kneecap). I suppose she was also in the movie Funny Face, and had a famous nightclub act too. Vinyl Whores led me to a lot of stories about her life and performance clips, you may enjoy it, too.

Kay is a goddess! She was also Liza's godmother and Miss M did a tribute show to her last year. One of Kay's many talents was choreographing the JFK inaugural gala that Sinatra put together.
