More than just a great album cover, half the songs on Soirée a la Macumba are pretty great, some are sort of a cross between goofy calypso and samba--the rest by some dowager female singer are shite. Give a listen to Balaio Grande, Medemoiselle Denise, Pourquoi, Voala, and listen to the rest with extreme caution.
