When I was a kid in Louisville, Kentucky, in the early-to-mid 1970s, there was a fast food chain known as "Burger Queen." The franchise's mascot was a grown lady dressed as a big bumblebee wearing a crown (I'm not making this up). I recall that she would occasionally appear on the afternoon cartoon/clown show that aired on the Louisville television airwaves.
Sadly, I cannot locate anything about "Burger Queen" except for this Wikipedia entry about "Druther's" restaurants and a couple of jpgs off of ebay.
Anybody out there have any old "Burger Queen" memorabilia they want to share?
